Eyewitness reported in the early hours of Thursday (18th March) Fire swept through a Mohammadpur, Dhaka slum razing hundreds of dwellings within half an hour. The blaze spread rapidly.

The accidental Fire broke out at the Bashbaria slum in Mohammadpur around midnight which caused hundreds of Home. The fire fighter reched the place just after they been informed and controlled the fire after 40 minutes. But within that time it destroyed almost three quarters of the homes.
Fire figher said its really unbleaveable to see such devastation in such a short time. Upto this point no one reported hurt or missing.
