28th BCS Final Result Published Today

The Public Service Commission provisionally recommended 2,190 candidates for various cadres including BCS (administration) and BCS (information) as the number of vacancies is lower than the number of successful candidates. A total of 5105 candidates came out successful after the written and oral tests, said a press release issued by the PSC.
Those who have not been recommended for cadres because of limited vacancies, government will take step to accommodate them in the non-cadre posts.
The Public Service Commission PRO, Mir Mosharraf Hossain informed press that, 120946 candidates took the preliminary exams on Nov 28, 2008 for 1,720 posts in different cadres. As many as 11,785 candidates sat for the month-long written examinations that started on Apr 30, 2009. Results were out on Sept 2 that year. Of them 5,881 candidates passed the written exams—2,426 in general cadre, 1,862 in technical cadre and 1,593 in both general and technical cadres.

For this time the 28th BCS results will not be available at the PSC office but they have posted the result on their website.
