New Office Hours for Ramadan 2010

June 29, Dhaka, Bangladesh (Tazakhobor.com): Cabinet approved the new office hours during Ramadan for government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations.

The office hours for Ramadan will be from 9:00am to 3:30pm with 15 minutes break for Zohr prayer from 1-15 pm, instead of 9:00am to 5:00pm at present
The cabinet at its regular weekly meeting at Bangladesh Secretariat chaired by Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina approved the office hours for Ramadan 2010.
The meeting also approved the drafts of Climate Change Trust Act, 2010 and Administrative Tribunal (Amendment) Act, 2010. PM's Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad also informed press that the government has already allotted Tk 1400 crore in 2009-10 and 2010-2011 fiscal years after creating Climate Change Trust Fund.
Mr Azad also told that, Commercial banks, insurance companies, other financial institutions, post office, railways, hospitals, nationalized industries, and essential services would fix their own office timing as per their rules.
