Key Accused of BDR Munity DAD Abdur Rahim Dies of 'Heart Attack'

July 29, Dhaka (Tazakhobor.Com): Deputy Assistant Director (DAD) of Bangladesh Rifles Abdur Rahim, a key accused of BDR mutiny, died last night at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Tawhidul Islam, senior superintendent of Dhaka Central Jail, told that Abdur Rahim died of heart attack around 9:30pm. He was 54.
The jail super also informed press that Abdur Rahim was first admitted to jail hospital and around 8:40pm and then shifted to DMCH.
Rahim was arrested on March 2, 2009 at a residential area near Methorpotti under Hazaribagh Police Station for his involvement in the February 25-26 BDR mutiny and was charged for criminal offences on July 13.
