In a late night meeting with BNP chair person Khaleda Zia, B. Choudhury, the former president agreed to join the newly formed alliance, which may be named as “Gonotantrik Oikkojote”. Khaleda Zia is expected to announce the declaration of expansion of the BNP-led four-party alliance and fresh opposition programmes on 12th March from the Grand Rally.
Earlier, Mahi B. Choudhury, the son of Prof. B  Chowdhury & also the senior General Secretary of Bikalpa Dhara met with met with Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan Office. The meeting starts around 12:45AM and last for about one and half hour. After the meeting Mahi informed press that the party decision will be declared from the press conference at Engineering Institute, which is scheduled this afternoon.
17 other like minded party including Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Natinal Awami Leage (Nap-Vashani) already agreed to join the new alliance.
