Bangladesh have taken out both the World Cup 2011 finalists, India and Sri Lanka and came close to beating former ODI world champions Pakistan to reach the final where they will face another giant Pakistan. They have made a mess of all predictions. At 135 for 5, the Bangladesh of old would have folded. Not this Bangladesh team though. They did it in their frenetic way at the top, but look no further than Nasir Hossain for one of the coolest young heads going around.
Earlier winning the toss Bangladesh Skipper Mushfiqur Rahim decided to field first and able to restrict Sri Lanka within a reachable total of 232. Although at the beginning of the innings they had a had time as they lost 3 quick wickets in 40 runs, but Tamim Iqbal(59 of 57 balls) & Shakib Al Hasan (56 of 46 Balls) played responsibly and made a 76 runs pertnership. And at the end the new commer Nasir Hossain and Mahmudullah made it easier to reachthe target. Nasir Hossain made 36 and Mahmudullah 32 of 33 balls.
