Communications and railway minister Obaidul Quader on Wednesday during his sudden visit at Kamlapur railway station on webnesday directed the authorities concerned  to issue a showcause notice and transfer the chief electrical engineer (eastern zone) Sabah Uddin.

He also ordered to suspend attendant Nizam Uddin for allegedly selling tickets illegally  while Director General of railway Abu Taher in a meeting decided to suspend senior sub-assistant engineer (phone/light) Aminul Islam.

Besides, the meeting also issued a showcause notice against divisional engineer of Dhaka zone Ajoy Kumar Poddar for negligence of his duty.
