Jatiya Party chairman HM Ershad on Friday said that the people had lost their confidence in the ‘two women leaders’ and wanted a ‘third force’ to run the country.

Former President and Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman Hussein Muhammad Ershad here today said his party wants to go to power through peoples mandate in the next general elections.
Addressing the publication and launching ceremony of new local daily the Dainik Amader Protidin on JL Roy road in the city as the chief guest.
Ershad formally launched the daily by cutting ribbon in the ceremony with publisher and Editor of the daily and Member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Ministry Anisul  Islam Mandal, MP, in the chair.
JP Presidium Member and its Rangpur city unit Convener Moshiur Rahman Ranga, Member-secretary of district unit Mostafizur Rahman Mostafa, former Rangpur pourashava Mayor AKM Abdur Rouf Manik, JP leader Fakhruzzaman Jahangir and Member- secretary of city unit SM Yasir were present.
Executive Editor of the daily Shanta Islam, Acting Editor Ali Ashraf, reporters, editors, officials and employees of the  newspaper, local journalists, professionals and elite attended the function.
